Retrofit Bluetooth Kit

An innovative communication technology designed for Astra J, Cascada, Insignia A, Meriva B, Mokka A, Zafira Tourer C. This Bluetooth handsfree system has a specially designed interface to provide on-screen information from the handsfree kit, it will allow the use of the steering wheel controls for the telephone.

Bluetooth Handsfree

Pushing the Phone button, the system automatically switches to the Bluetooth handsfree kit using the original car display and call menu. Allowing you to easily scroll through the phone book of the connected phone, dial a number, use voice dial or re-dial.

A2DP Audio Streaming

The system supports A2DP music streaming to allow you to wirelessly play music from your Phone or other Bluetooth device through the Front Speakers (Rear Speakers will be muted) This also allows you to skip back/forward through your music.

PDC Display

If your Vauxhall came with factory fitted parking sensors, we can make them show on your TID or GID dash screen, if you do not have parking sensors, we can supply you with sensors that are compatible with the display. We can even colour code them for you.

Bought this kit for an SE spec Zafira Tourer, intended to DIY fit but found that the Zafira Tourer dash is slightly different from the Astra J and Insignia and I couldn’t remove the side of the dash or the A-pillar trim to run the microphone cable. I felt that something was going to break so I had to admit defeat. I called up and the guys arranged to slot me in for a fitting, on Easter Monday no less. The kit is fab, and much better than the standard one fitted to my Audi. It supports A2DP with my Android phone which means I can now get turn by turn instructions from Google Maps. Took me a while to figure out that you need to adjust the volume for A2DP from the phone, not the stereo. One wee thing was that when the fitter removed the centre light console to locate the mic, he found that the holes were really small in the OEM position and it meant that the sound quality was reduced, so he located the mid discreetly adjacent to the rearview mirror. No biggie.

Installed this into my 2011 Meriva (B). This is a good piece of kit. Friendly customer service. The installation took about 45 minutes. The Trim removal tools were a godsend. The only problem I had was getting my phone to sync with the unit’s phonebook feature. This was overcome by moving contacts to sim card. Then unpairing the phone from the unit ( From phone menu ) Then turning the car off and removing the keys so that the stereo was off. Then turn the car back on and re-pairing the phone to the unit. All my sim card contacts now show up. I have not used the music player streaming as I have an I pod connected and has all my music on there. I would say this is the best option I have found for my Meriva. Only slight downside is I had to put the microphone on the A-Frame as there wasn’t anywhere else I could find to place it out of sight.
